A Legacy that Matters

Today is a little bit different. As a church, we are taking a moment to evaluate our purpose as a church and to remind ourselves that people are the most valuable thing God has given us. As the church, we should have a Christ-like heart that is determined to bring hope to the hopeless, comfort to the mourner, and show every person everywhere that Jesus loves them, died for them and wants to save them.

Nehemiah shows us what it looks like to have a tender heart that is willing to feel for the plight of others and the willingness to stand in the gap however they can. He leaves a life of luxury to strap on a sword and rebuild a wall despite opposition, assassination plots, and distraction - all because he was willing to be used by God. What if we also had a willing heart?
